Climbing Mt. Brassiere

Young men are all explorers who
must bravely make their blunders
through strange, uncharted regions
to discover natural wonders.
I well recall my first foray
one night in Puerto Rico,
when all at once the path was cleared
onto the Mounds of Tricot.
The challenge of the Snaps and Cups
still lay ahead of me,
but first I simply gazed in awe
from C to shining C.
